DROPS OF SILENCE

The sages who invented the Koans must have been aware of the fact that in order to enlighten the mind it is not necessary for it to arrive at finite answers but rather to bring it to stillness. When the mind is profoundly puzzled moments of stillness naturally occur in which enlightenment is becoming possible.
However, you do not need to read Koans to get there. It can also be achieved by simply questioning your own self, your actions, you reactions, movements etc. You just have to keep on asking yourself "Why?" until the source where the answers are arising from within your own thinking has become exhausted and the only answers you are receiving are drops of pure silence.

Contrary to the view the purely materialistically minded individuals take, to be spiritual does not imply one dodges life's responsibilities. In fact, the opposite is the case. To turn one's steps towards the spiritual pathway in life is a sign of inner strength and means that one is finally willing to grow up and accept one's responsibilites. However atuning your-self to the Divine Light and reaching out to the spiritual heights does not have the immediate effect of instilling eternal light-heartedness and blissfulness in your heart and mind (- although the media are doing their best to promote this idea). In order to attain to such a state of Being, fortitude, endurance and faith are required, because along this pathway there are personal shadows to be faced and many a dark wilderness of the soul to be traversed. Especially at the onset of the spiritual path of Light it may appear ...

NATURAL SHARING

We are all part of an integrated whole and as such share our unconscious as well as our conscious aspects of self. To be blissfully living with our self and in the world transforms us to channels of love, peace and freedom. Therefore, in being consciously aware of the moment and its beauty we are naturally and effortlessly sharing with everyone that, which is most precious in life - love.
